Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative is proud to offer you the convenience of entering your Residential meter reading, calculating your monthly billing amount, paying your bill by either your VISA, MASTERCARD or by electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your bank account, and seeing a 13-month billing history!
We are excited about this service and hope you will find it useful.
When you first go into the system, you will be asked for an Account Number and a PIN number. Your Account Number is your 8-digit billing number, such as 12345001 (Note: Do not use the hyphen nor use any leading zeros, such as 000012345001, except any required to make up the 8 digits). Your PIN number is 000 for the first time - you will be asked to enter a new one for future use. Please remember this PIN number. Please also note that the FIRST THING YOU MUST DO ON THE SITE is set up your payment information. You must do this before you enter your meter reading! The default is by mail, of course, so before you enter a reading, you must tell it if you want to pay by credit card or by EFT. You only have to do this the very first time, unless you wish to change it. Successive bill payments will automatically be handled the same way until you wish changes. Once your payment information is set up, you can then enter your meter reading. If later you wish to make an additional payment on your account, knowing you have already entered a reading (maybe on a balance due), be sure and select "Payment Only". It may all sound complicated, but you'll find it really isn't! Don't hesitate to call our office if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS SITE IS NOT INTERACTIVE - ALTHOUGH WE POST DAILY TO OUR BILLING SYSTEM, THIS SITE WILL NOT "REFLECT" YOUR POSTINGS UNTIL THE COOPERATIVE UPDATES IT ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT WE ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENTS ONLINE UP TO A GIVEN DAY EACH MONTH, WHICH IS NOTED BELOW.
Our website will accept payments for October until October 26th only.
If you want to "Pay-By-Telephone", just dial 1-800-331-0915. Note, however, that the first time you want to use this option, you must call the Cooperative so we can activate your account for this plan!
